Founded in a bedroom corner, Sweetwater Media has grown into an office and studio space in the thick of San Francisco. Our local client list is highlighted by Reddit, a crowdsourced Internet news destination; Legal Aid Society of SF, a non-profit defender of your rights; and Banyan Gourmet, a spices specialty e-commerce store.
If your company has an in-house creative team, we can enhance your strengths. If your company has nothing, we can supply the magic. If you have no company yet, we’ve been there and can help get you launched.
We’re all about expertise you can advertise with. No matter the scale, Sweetwater Media provides tangible solutions — video, web, design, photography — that will best curate your brand against the competition, both online and offline.

Founder, Creative Director
If you need ideas, preferably new, you want Michael. He started in advertising and marketing in 1997 with Youth Stream Media Networks, when the Internet wasn’t much more than email. As marketing director for four years at DawnSignPress, a publishing house with $5M annual revenues, he implemented their Internet and consumer sales strategy. Most recently he led web strategy at Purple Communications (NASDAQ: PRPL), a technology company which had just come out of a five-company merger with 1,000 employees and $60M FY2009 revenues. The decisive moment in building Sweetwater came when he decided he “wanted more comprehensive challenge than any employer could offer in-house.”
Today Michael serves as project manager for all Sweetwater Media output and is currently experimenting with his Canon 7D. You can often find him cruising on his bike to check out shoot locations, spending time with beloved partner of 19 years and their three daughters, or walking Wally, his Border Stack.
